Weller Designs worked with the new owners of the Astbury Golf Club to enable the existing course to flourish following a number of years of financial difficulty.
Key to the scheme was Weller Designs’ proposal for an extensive leisure park with 300 luxury holiday lodges. Weller Designs also designed a new par 3 golf course and an Adventure Golf facility to add to available family facilities. The enabling scheme got full planning approval in 2019 with Weller Designs also undertaking detailed landscape surveys, visual impact assessments and detailed landscape design for the lodges, park, hotel and spa.
