The owner of The Drift Golf Club contacted Weller Designs to seek advice on enhancing the club’s revenue.
We developed a high-quality covered driving range as the most effective new facility in what is a sensitive area in planning terms, with ancient woodland and landscape and access issues.
Planning permission was granted after Weller Designs drew up and coordinated a full Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) application for the scheme.
Soil recovery forms part of the range outfield development which is offsetting some of the capital costs.
An extensive water harvesting scheme, off the range, also forms part of the scheme.
